A common example of two-factor authentication is a bank card: the card itself is the physical item and the personal identification number (PIN) is the data that goes with it.

2. Three Factor Authentication: is a security process in which the user has to provide the following three means of identification:

Disk encryption is a special case of data at rest protection when the storage media is a sector-addressable device (e.g., a hard disk, USB drive, Zip drive or a flash card/drive). SSL-VPN stands for Secure Socket Layer Virtual Private Network. It is a term used to refer to any device that is capable of creating a semi permanent encrypted tunnel over the public network between two private machines or networks to pass non-protocol specific, or arbitrary traffic.
